Getafe interested in free agent Jadon Sancho

Getafe are exploring a move for England winger Jadon Sancho as they seek to strengthen their attacking options, according to DAZN.
The 26-year-old, who is available on a free transfer, is admired by Getafe coach José Bordalás for his dribbling ability, effectiveness in one-on-one situations and capacity to play on either wing.
However, any deal appears complicated by Sancho’s salary demands. The player’s wages are reported to be around €4m (£3.4m) a year, a figure that exceeds the Madrid club’s current financial limits and salary cap.
Getafe are examining ways to structure a move that would allow them to sign Sancho without breaching financial regulations. The long-term absence of midfielder Juanmi through injury could free up some salary space, though this is not expected to be sufficient on its own to cover Sancho’s wages.
The interest comes as Getafe continue their squad-building efforts. The club have already confirmed the signing of Danny Carvajal and are also monitoring Dani Parejo.
