Real Madrid Squad News: Courtois Returns for Racing Santander Trip, Valverde Ruled Out
Real Madrid have named their squad for Sunday’s La Liga away fixture against Racing Santander in Matchday 11.
Thibaut Courtois is back in the group after missing last weekend’s El Clásico with the flu. The Belgian goalkeeper is once again available to José Mourinho.
Ukrainian goalkeeper Andriy Lunin, who started and kept goal in the 2-1 win over Barcelona, also remains in the squad.
Federico Valverde will not travel. The Uruguayan midfielder is still dealing with a muscle issue, and the coaching staff have chosen not to risk him for this match.
