Raphinha Signs New Barcelona Contract Until 2030

Barcelona have announced that captain Raphinha has signed a new contract that will keep him at the club until the summer of 2030.
The Brazilian forward put pen to paper at the Spotify Camp Nou offices on Thursday, extending a deal that had been due to expire in 2028. “Our beloved captain will continue to play for the club until 2030,” the Catalan side said in an official statement.
Raphinha, 29, joined Barcelona from Leeds United in July 2022. Since then he has made around 190 appearances across all competitions, scoring 94 goals and providing more than 55 assists. This season he has been in outstanding form under Hansi Flick, scoring 19 goals in 13 matches and establishing himself as a central figure in the attack after transitioning into a number nine role.
Transfermarkt currently values the 29-year-old at approximately €70 million. The extension secures one of Barcelona’s most productive and influential players through to the end of the decade, with Raphinha expressing a desire to remain at the club for as long as his body allows.
