Galatasaray face extended absence of Victor Osimhen after knee injury

Galatasaray will be without star striker Victor Osimhen for a significant stretch after the Nigerian forward suffered a knee injury in the Champions League clash against Stuttgart. According to TMW, the damage requires surgery.
The procedure is set for November 7 at the Acıbadem Clinic in Istanbul’s Maslak district. It will be carried out arthroscopically under the supervision of club doctor Yener Ince.
Galatasaray have not given a firm return timeline. The length of Osimhen’s rehabilitation will be assessed only after the operation, based on the surgical findings and how his recovery progresses.
The loss of the prolific forward represents a major setback for the Turkish champions, given his central role in their attacking play.
