Konstantinos Karetsas Ruled Out With Foot Ligament Injury

Dortmund have confirmed that attacking midfielder Konstantinos Karetsas has injured a ligament in his foot. The 18-year-old Greek will sit out Tuesday’s Champions League tie with Sabah and Saturday’s Bundesliga fixture against Eintracht Frankfurt.

It’s a second setback for the youngster since arriving at the club. In September, he collapsed during a Champions League game against Villarreal, a result of dizziness linked to circulation problems.

Karetsas signed from Genk in the summer for €30 million. So far, he has played nine games for Dortmund and provided one assist.
