Mazraoui among Manchester United absentees for Atletico Madrid Champions League clash

Manchester United will be without Noussair Mazraoui for Wednesday’s Champions League meeting with Atletico Madrid.

The Morocco international is one of four confirmed absentees listed by the club, alongside Patrick Dorgu, Benjamin Sesko and Manuel Ugarte.

There are also fitness doubts over Luke Shaw and Kobbie Mainoo. Both featured in the 1-1 Premier League draw with Tottenham but missed subsequent training sessions.

United head into the European fixture without a win in their last four matches. Their Champions League campaign began strongly with a 4-0 victory over Sabah of Azerbaijan, but form has since dipped.

The Red Devils are still searching for consistency after conceding a stoppage-time equaliser against Tottenham at the weekend.
