Amine Gouiri named Marseille Player of the Month for September 2026
Olympique Marseille have named Algerian striker Amine Gouiri as their Player of the Month for September 2026 after a fan vote.
Gouiri received the ‘Marseillais of the Month’ award, sponsored by Puma, in recognition of his performances last month despite the team’s poor results.
The forward scored two goals and provided one assist during September, standing out as one of the few bright spots in a side that failed to record a single victory.
Gouiri has now contributed four goals and one assist in five Ligue 1 appearances this season, with two goals coming in August and two more in September.
